Hisense donated 6 million yuan for school reconstruction after the earthquake

On May 12, 2008, a big earthquake happened in Wenchuan of Sichuan Province in China. Chenjiaba in Beichuan is the hardest hit area in this earthquake. Hisense employees have been deeply concerned about the situation in the earthquake area. After knowing that teaching buildings in some areas collapsed and that many students had not escaped from danger yet, Hisense Group made a decision within 13 hours after the earthquake: donated CNY 6 million to the disaster area for the reconstruction of the school, and monitored the whole process of reconstruction, to ensure that the high-standard and shockproof school buildings can be built with the fastest speed and the best quality, and the schools can resume teaching. Later, Hisense organized its employees at home and abroad to carry out donation activities, and raised more than CNY 2 million of money and materials in less than half a month.
