Hisense UK engaged with Curry’s PC World ‘Team Knowhow’ staff
Curry’s PC World is the largest electrical retailer operating in the UK with 295 superstores and 73 high street stores.  As part of Hisense UK’s current growth activity, we are now selling a range of Hisense TVs on the retailer’s website with hopes of increasing the number of models throughout the next year. With the new partnership underway, members of Hisense UK held a two-day brand and product awareness demonstration at Curry’s Team Knowhow offices in Sheffield.  The Team Knowhow office provide expert product after-sales and cover services, with 1,400 staff based in the call centre. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of our current product range as well as educate the staff on the Hisense brand and our heritage.
 
Over the 2-day event, all staff were able to engage with a number of activities. To showcase our unique partnership with Red Bull Racing, we arranged the RB12 show car to be on display which caused huge excitement levels for staff to see first-hand a Formula 1 car.  This proved to be hugely popular and created a real buzz, with all staff taking a closer look at some stage and having photographs taken with it. Inside the call centre we housed a display area where employees gathered to learn more about the TVs we had on display. To help make the event fun, we ran competitions for participants to guess the number of Hisense branded fridge magnets we had on our RQ560N4WC1 fridge freezer, which we used to giveaway drinks and ice pops.  Visitors could have a ride on our Red Bull Racing simulator to try and claim the glory of the fastest lap time and in doing so, win a new Hisense TV. 
 
Of particular note, Hisense UK were able to train 15 groups of inbound sales team members on the TV range, the key features and benefits of each model.  This should proved to be hugely beneficial for the team when they receive calls from potential customers and they will be able to confidently promote our products with extensive knowledge from first-hand experience.  
 
The event was really successful, with Steve Hadley, Team Knowhows Facilities Manager saying, “This was without doubt the best event put on by a manufacturer with great interactivity.  I’m a big Formula 1 fan myself so it was great to learn so much about your partnership with Red Bull Racing and to see the car first hand was fantastic.  Everybody has loved the 2 days and learned so much about Hisense and your products.”
